12 Mindset description

This is a measure of fixed versus growth mindset/theory of intelligence (Dweck 2013). It is a shortened 6-item measure scored on a 6-point Likert scale from 0 = “Strongly Disagree” to 5 = “Strongly Agree”.

Qualtrics scores the measure internally, so you can merge the score variable into your own data set. Scores range from 0-30. A higher score means a greater growth mindset; a lower score means a higher fixed mindset.
