OpenStax Text renders exactly like the plain Text block — it proxies the same rich-text renderer, and takes the same single rich-text field, with no extra config. What it adds is the openstax-cms editor styles.
It ships in @openstax/flex-page-os-blocks and is registered under its own block type, os_text, alongside the generic text block — so a page can use either. The editor styles are scoped to this block, so a plain Text block renders the same markup without them.
These are openstax-cms editor classes the content team applies to runs of text in the rich-text editor — they're part of the content, not block config. The eyebrow class renders as a small uppercase label, typically above a heading, and text-blue, text-green, text-orange, text-gray, and text-white apply the OpenStax brand colors to any run of text.
